The New I-64 is Under Construction

Reconstruction on Highway 40/64 is, and will continue to be a hassle, until completion in 2010.

We are in the planning stages to do anything possible to help you save time and hassle of the traffic. If you have any ideas please let us know how we can achieve our goal better to serve you. Please call or email.

One step we can take now is get you connected to some websites that will help get you where you need to be. As the 64/40 construction project continues and major road closings are implemented these websites will guide you to alternate roads and get you to your destination faster.

Whatever the reason is - when you come to Curt Parker Jewelers we will make it worth your while.

Curt Parker Jewelers joins forces with Getaroundstl.com to help you.

Another way to get where you need to be Dial 511 for updates.

511 is America’s easy-to-remember travel information telephone number – like 911 for emergency services and 411 for telephone numbers.

Topaz or Citrine

Citrine
Kissed by the Sun

As the golden variety of the quartz family, citrine takes its name from citron, the French word for lemon. But don’t think that all citrine is the color of lemonade. Citrines range from the soft hues of golden champagne to the rich, deep color of a fine Madeira wine. Its broad range of colors and outstanding affordability make citrine one of the most popular and desirable gemstones in the world.

Topaz
The Hues of an Ocean Sunset

Cast your eyes upon the ocean waters as the setting sun displays its dance of color, and you’ll discover all the rich spectral hues of topaz. On its cool side, topaz ranges from a soft sky blue to the richest and most vivid aquas and greenish blues imaginable.  Warmer tones of topaz take on the golden hue of a fine chardonnay or the blush of a tree ripened peach. Other colors range from rich, warm browns to lusty variations of orange and cinnamon. Some of the most rare and exceptional shades of topaz include rich pinks and sherry reds.

The holiday gift giving season is just around the corner.

Every year you contemplate the perfect gift for that special person. The gift of jewelry is always a hit! You have your classic jewelry staples – diamond rings, bracelets and necklaces – that are always well received. Why not try something different? Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but try mixing them with colored gemstones. Pearls can be a fashion statement and they come in different colors - pink, black and now chocolate. How about a chunky gold bracelet – the fashion accessory of the season? Large bracelets are very popular right now and you can accessorize any casual or dressy outfit with single or multiple bracelets.
